Puerto Rico is currently a U.S. territory, not a state. They get all the benifits of a U.S. state but they DO NOT pay taxes. Why is it that tax payers have to pay for Puerto Rico? Shouldn't their tax money go to something that benifits them? Puerto Rico should become a state because instead of more of our tax dollars going to education, military, (things that benifit the tax payer and the community) some of our money goes to Puerto Rico WHO DOES NOT PAY TAXES. This is unfair to the American tax payer and needs to be changed. If Puerto Rico becomes a state they will pay taxes. We wont pay for them.
