Opposing the right for a mother and her family to move from an overcrowded, expensive Metro Detroit area to Upstate New York. Michigan Court prohibits this family to move a child more than 100 miles away from a non-custodial parent who refuses to pay child support. Move would not interfere with parenting time and would increase the life of the child and her family in countless ways. The Court claims that living in the countryside would not be an improvement of life for the family and is therefor denying the motion. I believe we should all fight for the right to have a better life. The United States brings in countless people for other countries so they may have a better life, yet the State of MI refuses to let one family move to NY. re: Welch v. Cady
