Prison Phone System a Mess

Is it not enough that the government takes our low-level, non-violent loved ones and incarcerates them for alcohol and drug offenses and we as tax payers not only have to pay to keep them incarcerated, but it cost us a minimum of $9.25 for a fifteen minute phone call from a loved one just to hear their voice. I have a 5-minute across the board long distance plan that means a fifteen-minute phone call should cost 75 cents. Look at how much the government is making off the inmates¿ family or loved ones. Is this not the same thing as loan sharking? If we as the American people do not start speaking out and fighting for our rights, soon we will have no rights left. Think about it, the more people the government incarcerates, the more money they make. Our whole prison system is a racket and needs reformed immediately!
